DuoClear™ Technology: How it works?

Zodiac is pioneering a new phase of product development in the pool care market. Responding to growing demand for improved water quality, Zodiac has combined the technologies of Nature2™ and Clearwater™ to provide you with the ultimate sanitation and purification system – DuoClear™. But what does this mean, well to sanitise means to keep hygienic and to purify means to keep clean, hence DuoClear™ will keep your pool water crystal clear and hygienically clean.

DuoClear™ uses salt to automatically produce low levels of chlorine necessary to destroy bacteria build up and algae to create brilliantly clear water.

By utilizing Clearwater™ technology, DuoClear™ produces its own chlorine from a minute amount of salt. As part of the daily filtration cycle, the pool water is passed through the DuoClear™ system, firstly the Nature2™ cartridge releases copper and silver consistently into the water during the life of the cartridge and in conjunction with 1ppm of chlorine, effectively killing harmful bacteria, dangerous pathogens and algae. Secondly the electrodes located in the salt water chlorination cell actually produce chlorine which is injected into the water flowing through the DuoClear vessel into the pool. It gives you complete peace of mind and gives you more time to enjoy your pool.

The Ultimate Sanitising and Purifying system

Effective Release of Minerals for Advanced Purification: Minute amounts of copper and silver are dissolved into the water, which works cooperatively with chlorine to destroy harmful bacteria and algae providing you with pure, clean pool water.

Advanced Electrode Technology: DuoClear™ uses Clearwater™ technology to reduce calcium build up and ensures effective sanitation of pool water. This is managed by reversing the polarity in the cell every 5.8 hours. (This is dependent upon water conditions.)

Innovative Vessel Design: Is made of high-tech resins, which ensures years of performance. The innovative design allows easy access to check and replace the Nature2™ cartridge or electrode.

New Plate Technology: Incorporates new electrode plate technology which ensures greater cell efficiency and performance.

Special Life Time Electrode Warranty:

Zodiac’s warranty terms state that it will replace an electrode free, when it needs replacing, for the lifetime of the DuoClear™ system, providing that the Nature2™ cartridge is replaced regularly every 6 months. Otherwise the standard 3 year electrode warranty will apply (12 months full warranty followed by a further 24 months Pro-rata Warranty).
